This guide will show you how to save your users’ cookie preferences inside Memberstack, thus improving their experience when logging in from new devices.

Keep in mind that the method used in this guide will only work with the Finsweet Cookie Consent plugin for Webflow, which is a great plugin that we recommend.

The way everything works is by saving the cookie preferences inside a Memberstack custom field, thus transferring users’ cookie preferences across any device where they’re logged in.

Maintaining users’ cookie preferences across devices on Webflow

To maintain users’ cookie preferences across devices on a Webflow site, we’re going to use MemberScript #83 – Cross-Device Cookie Preferences and the Finsweet Cookie Consent plugin for Webflow. Follow the link to get the code you’ll need to add to your site and watch a video tutorial on how to set everything up.

Stap 1

Go to your Memberstack dashboard and create a custom field called Cookie Consent. 

Stap 2

Add the Finsweet custom code to your site’s header by going to your site’s settings in Webflow and then to Custom code.

Stap 3

Add the Memberstack custom code (?) to your site’s header.

Stap 4

Add the MemberScript #83 custom code to your site’s footer.
